This past week we took a trip to Kentucky. Brent had some continuing education courses to attend for Pedo with all the other residents. There was no way he was leaving me home alone for 3 days, So lucky for me my oldest sister and her family moved to Kentucky at the beginning of this year. So we took a little family trip. It was so fun for Kaedyn to meet some more of her cousins and her Auntie Kimmie & Uncle Steve. Since Brent was gone almost all day each day at classes and then they went to the qualifying horse races for the Kentucky Derby, it was fun for Kaedyn and I to hang out with family. It was about a 6 hour drive and Kaedyn did so well. She slept for the first 3 hours, and then we stopped to take a break for about and hour, then she slept another 2 hours and for the last hours she played with toys and I read her stories. She sure loves looking at books. I am so proud of her for handling such a long car ride so well..
Kaedyn's cousin Sailor played so well with her. He was having fun reading his books to her. Look closely at the title of the book in the picture below.. It made me laugh that I just had to get a picture for the scrapbook. "Toilet Training Without Tears".
