A fun trip to the Pumpkin Patch Kaedyn Loved the Petting Zoo

Kaedyn's first try at carving pumpkins

She was disgusted by their insides.
And kept trying to touch it and saying Eeewww!!!

So as we are pulling into the driveway the other day,
Kaedyn is in the back seat and keeps saying ooohhh "Pretty Red"
And this is what I see...
1st Bloody Nose, gotta capture these for the scrapbook.

I showed her a picture after I took one, and she said OOhhh So Pretty.
I guess it reminded her of what she looks like when she gets into Mama's makeup.

Kaedyn rocking out to the "Monster Mash" she loves Music.

Happy Halloween Morning

Our Halloween Dinner

What a Scare!!

What a Scare!!
So in the middle of Kaedyn's nap she wakes up screaming hysterically. I pick her up and try to give her hugs and comfort her, and she just keeps crying and saying ouchy, ouchy and pointing to her belly. Since she still has really bad belly (GI) problems, I think it's just her tummy hurting really bad. Well the sadness and crying goes on for another hour and nothing I do seems to make her feel better. She just keeps telling me ouchy. Of course Brent isn't home, he is off helping somebody move, which I was thankful he is so willing to help others, but he was supposed to home 2 hours ago at this point. So as many parents feel in times of frustration, I start to get sad, cause I have no idea what to do. Luckily 2 minutes before the freak out of mommy begins, our daddy walks in the door. Eventually we get Kaedyn to calm down a little, and then realize she is holding (cradling) her right arm and when we try to move it she screams. So of course the medical part of Brent starts examining her little arm trying to solve the problem. Thank goodness the realistic mommy steps in and says put her in the car we are going to the Urgent Care. Well we get to urgent care, after waiting 20 minutes, the Doctor takes a quick look at her arm and hand and tells us she may have a "Blood Infection" what? Then he tells us they are now closed and we need to take her to the ER. So off we are again, and we walk into a very nice ER waiting room, but are completely disgusted by all the sick, coughing, sneezing, barfing mask wearing patients.. Ohh great the wait begins, thankfully since Kaedyn was so young and screaming in pain, they rushed us through a little quicker.

Okay to wrap the story up quickly she ended up having "Nursemaids Elbow" also known as dislocating the bone in her elbow... We were so confused, this usually happens when a toddler falls or someone graps them by the arm, etc. But for Kaedyn it happened in her sleep, and they say that's rare but when your child is a tummy sleeper they tend to sleep on one of their arms which then relaxes the muscles and she must have rolled over and popped it out of place. So Sad, I know. Bad news is they tell us once it happens it tends to happen every few months until they get a little older. So they taught Brent how to pop her elbow back into place, it's quick and simple and the second they popped it back in she was our 100% happy Baby Girl.. So Brave

Our first Family Trip to Hawaii

So Exciting
Our First "Dental Business Trip" to Hawaii.
Hopefully many more are to come.

Kaedyn and Daddy looking so sleepy, we had to be at the airport at 4:00 am.

Kaedyn's first trip to the Beach, and she loved it!
She loved throwing the sand too, (not so fun for us)
Gotta love the way sand sticks to sunblock.
Kaedyn's got her eyes on the prize. So Yummy!
Our Favorite place for Breakfast, (As seen on Oprah)
The Aquarium was Amazing, Kaedyn loved all the bright colored fishy.

And the "Spooky" fish too!

Even though we were in Beautiful Hawaii for 10 days,
I think Kaedyn's favorite activity was sitting in the hotel bed, eating snacks and watching T.V.As soon as we would step off the elevator she would go running to our room, saying T.V, T.V.
Oh the excitement when she got her way. Yeah T.V.
We had an Amazing time at the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Our Beautiful Blue Eyed Babe.

The next few are silly pictures of Kaedyn
She is starting to get delirious after a long, hot day in the sun.

Watching the Airplanes on our way home.
